The TYM International Music Competition 2024 has been founded
to make foreign music competitions more accessible by eliminating costs of
travel costs, living expenses and visa problems, thanks to the
Online only.



The competition is not intended to replace the execution of

GUIDELINES FOR THE 2024 COMPETITION

Puccini 100
Special Prize consists of 2 phases: the preliminary
and final.

Participants must submit video material for the preliminary application
FREE. For the final stage, candidates will be able to choose whether to use
of the video submitted in the preliminary phase, or record a new one.
Multiple winners will be selected for each age group.

1.1 Preliminary test

Participants must complete the application form for the
Preliminary on the registration page accessible by the ''Subscribe now'' button at the bottom of this page, attaching a Link to access the video recording of their
Music performance. This contest accepts links to the main site
Global video web such as YouTube or others.

Ensure that you fully comply with the "Guidelines on
Video material" (see section 3).

1.2 Final stage

Only those who have passed the preliminary stage
will have access to the final phase.
The selected finalists will receive an invitation by email with

The payment for the final stage can be made by

Registration fee for the final stage of the
section: 150 euro
The registration fee for the final stage is non-refundable.

Minors must sign a separate notice and tick the box with the following

The competition is open to international musicians from All ages.
Applicants will be grouped into twelve categories based on
Age. Each category will have a different time limit.

KIDS PRODIGY - Born in 2016 and younger - 10 minutes
maximum

KIDS ARTIST I - Born in 2015/2014 - 10 minutes maximum

KIDS ARTIST II- Born in 2013/2012- 10 minutes maximum

JUNIOR I - Born in 2011/2010 - 15 minutes maximum

JUNIOR II - Born in 2009/2008 - 15 minutes maximum

YOUTH I - Born in 2007/2006 - 20 minutes maximum

YOUTH II - Born in 2005/2004 - 20 minutes maximum

VIRTUOSO I - Born in 2003/2002 - 20 minutes maximum

VIRTUOSO II - Born in 2001/2000 - 20 minutes maximum

MASTER I - Born in 1999/1998 - 25 minutes maximum

MASTER II - Born in 1997/1996 - 25 minutes maximum

PROFESSIONAL - Born from 1995 onwards - 25 minutes maximum


Candidates can compete in a higher category
to their own, but not inferior.

STRINGS: Violin, Viola, Cello, Double bass, Guitar,
Harp, Mandolin

Woodwinds: Flute, Piccolo, Oboe, English Horn, Clarinet,
Saxophone, Bassoon

BRASS: Trumpet, French horn, Trombone, Euphonium, Tuba

VOICE: Soprano, Mezzo-Soprano, Contralto, Tenor, Baritone,Basso

PERCUSSION: Vibraphone, Marimba, Snare drum, SetupPERCUSSION: Vibraphone, Marimba, Snare, Setup, Timpani,
Battery etc

PIANO FOR FOUR HANDS

CHAMBER MUSIC: Duo, Trio, Quartet, Quintet, Quartet
of strings, Saxophone quartet, Wind quintet, Reeds quintet, etc

VIDEO DIRECTORY AND GUIDELINES

The choice of repertoire is at the discretion of the participants.
The following rules/limitations apply.
The participant may submit any piece, piece or Set of parts,
provided the duration of execution is within the time frame

Each song must be played in a single take without

sent in a single video file.

Puccini 100 reserves the right to
right to immediately disqualify any participant whose

You can use multiple cameras for recording
video but no sound effects must be added to the video.

Each participant is not required to submit any
scores at the time of application, however if requested by the commission, these
is required to submit an original score or a copy of the score

Participants are encouraged to submit their video of the event, and

performance.


MARKING SYSTEM

FIRST PRIZE - awarded to the contestant who will
totalled at least 94/100 points

SECOND PRIZE - will be awarded to the contestant who
at least 86/100 points

THIRD PRIZE - awarded to the contestant who will

THIRD PRIZE - awarded to the contestant who will
at least 80/100 points

FOURTH PRIZE - awarded to the contestant who will
totalled at least 72/100 points

Recognition Special Mention - is awarded to the
Competitor who gets at least 65/100 points

Recognition Mention d'Honneur - awarded to the
Competitor who gets at least 55/100 points


1 First prize of 1000 euro to the best candidate
